DWK column automatic reactive power compensation device is mainly used for 6 ~ 10kV transmission line. Based on voltage, time, power factor, reactive power etc , and controlled by automatic controller parallel to capacitor to improve power factor, reduce line loss and improve voltage quality.

NOTES:The above is a general capacity configuration,but it is not the only one in practical application.It can be adjusted according to the actual site and user needs.Usually choose 50 kvar or 100 kvar of static compensation capacitors in a set of equipment.
■ Configuration & working principle
The device consists of high-voltage capacitor,vacuum contactor,voltage transformer,protective current transformer,control unit,arrester,outdoor drop-out fuse,outdoor current transformer and others.
Working principle:According to the real-time voltage and current of the circuit collected by the voltage transformer in the box and the current transformer outside the box,the DWK controller,after calculation and processing,sends the input or removal instruction to control the opening and closing action of the vacuum contactor,so as to the capacitor can be switched on and off.Outdoor drop-out fuse short circuit the device,once the device has short-circuit fault,drop-out fuse will fuse immediately to prevent device fault expansion and damage to the line.
